Welcome to EsteeG Photography! I’m Estee (or Esther) and am thrilled you’re here!
My love for photography started with my Father. Photography was his hobby which intrigued me. As I grew, I developed a love for the arts and it was with my Father’s encouragement, I took my first photography class in high school and never looked back.
I absolutely love photographing families and children! When having a photography session with me, we will laugh, get to know each other and at ease. Being one of nine children I am able to jump right into the action. I know sometimes children can be shy or scared when meeting a new person especially when there is a camera pointed at them. This is why I introduce myself to them, tell them about my children, make some jokes or funny noises throughout the session. I will do my best to get them to warm up to me and feel comfortable and secure in the setting. At the same time I will gently guide you and your family with some posing and interaction tips to help you look your best and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Recent I discovered a new style of photography I never knew existed, Liturgical photography. This happened by accident and what a blessing it has been. I have photographed Mass many times as well as many church events and I have fallen in love with capturing the Sacrifice of Mass and sharing the beauty of God with many.
To help you have a better idea of me, I want to share some fun facts with you. I am the wife of a Fire Fighter, a mother to four boys, a dog lover though I’m a chicken owner, I get excited when I hear bagpipers, my favorite food is doughnuts and I have a special place in my heart for people of special needs.
I love what I do and love sharing my art with so many. I firmly believe photographs are extremely important as they tell our family’s story and become our history. It means so much to me that I can give you, your special moment through a photograph which you can revisit over and over again.
